Departure from Hotel at 09:00. Istanbul, once known as an important capital has many unique features. It is the only city in the world to straddle two continents, and the only one to have been a capital during two consecutive empires - Byzantine and Ottoman. The city still remains the commercial, historical and cultural pulse of Turkey, and its beauty lies in its ability to embrace its contradictions. Ancient and modern, religious and secular, Asia and Europe, mystical and earthly all co-exist here. After having breakfast, we will tour the “Old City”. This is the centre from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. First visit of the Hippodrome, centre of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Subsequently visit of the Basilica of St. Sophia and Topkapi Palace with treasury section and harem. Hereafter visit of the Blue Mosque, the latter one is famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets and is built for Sultan Ahmet.Subsequently we will continue our visits with St. Sofia. Here is one of the world’s architectural masterpieces with architectural features rendering it unique in construction. DAY 3 : TENEDOS ( BOZCAADA )

Departure from hotel at 08:00 and drive to Bozcaada (Tenedos) via Eceabat. Today we will be an exciting day for the mythology fans. There will be a visit to the remnants of the ancient city of Troy, which is famous with the legendary Trojan Horse. The stories of beautiful Helen, the Queen of Sparta, Paris, the Trojan Prince and the big Trojan war can be imagined while walking on the hill. Lunch at a local restaurant in Eceabat. Subsequently we will continue our drive to Bozcaada where is a continous life for approximately 5000 years on. Lunch at a local restaurant in Eceabat. Dinner and overnight in Tenedos. |
DAY 4 : TENEDOS ( BOZCAADA )

As a matter of fact, vintage is the result of year’s hard work. There is work don on vineyards all year long, all of which effect the success of the year product. Vintage is the most important part of this process. Today we will join this vintage fest starting with a light breakfast in the morning, not to interfere with the tasting that folows. After tasting of the ‘Island Whites’, we will visit vineyards and hands-on work of harvesting grapes for this year’s vintage. It goes withoutsaying that the tasting of these grapes is higly encouraged. Lunch will be served in the vineyard in small baskets as an authentic ‘vineyard worker menu’ harvesting of grapes will continue. Subsequently back to the Ranch and preparations for the evening vine tasting. This time we will taste ‘Island Reds’ Dinner will be served at one of the island’s small restaurants, offering authentic tastes. Overnight in Tenedos (Bozcaada). |
DAY 5 : TENEDOS ( BOZCAADA ) - IZMIR

Departure from Bozcaada to Izmir by morning ferry. We will first visit Pergamon Acropolis. The Acropolis was built on an extremely steep hill, approached by a winding road ascending some 300m. In this uniquely designed city, religious, official, social and commercial buildings are all found side-by-side. On top of this hill, which has been inhabited since ancient times, are the palaces of the King of Pergamum. There are also five cisterns and an arsenal on the hill. Below these buildings is the Temple of Athena, as well as the Library and the Temple of Trajan. Asclepion translates as ’place of Aesklepios’, the son of Apollo and the god of healing and health, and was an important health centre in Greco-Roman times. Among the types of therapy practiced here were mud baths, sports, theatre, psychotherapy and use of medicinal waters. It is thought that patients were cured here by the sound of running water and by the persuasive hypnotic techniques used by the priests. Lunch at a local restaurant in Bergama. DAY 6 : EFESUS - KUSADASI

Today we will have a visit to Efesus. During our walk through the site we will see beautiful ancient tempels, agora’s, marble streets, the Celsus library, anphi-theaters etc. in good shape. Only little imagination is needed to go some centuries back and feel daily life in the Roman or Greek period. In the afternoon the coach will take us to a cute village in the mountains for lunch , which is called Sirince, another high energy spot. We will also visit St. Mary House and St. John Church during the day. Dinner and overnight in Kusadası. |

Departure from hotel at 09:00 and drive to Pamukkale. Pamukkale is unique and famous with its white travertine terraces. The source rich in minerals has a healing power which is very early been discovered. We will visit a city, called Hierapolis has been founded as part of the Pergamon Kingdom. The site is known because of its acropolis; ancient cemetery. We will also see Loadikeia. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale at a thermal hotel |

Departure from hotel at 09:00 and drive to Konya the city of the whirling derwishes. A holy city of Konya is the home of RUMI. The city was used to be one of the most important trading centres on the Silk Road. We will have a visit of Sultanhani Caravanserai. The latter one was built as an accommodation place for tradesman and at the same time it had the function of a castle in times of hostility. Afterwards we will visit Mevlana museum, which has been given as a present by the Seljuk sultans to the derwishes.The most famous place here is old convent of the whirling derwishes, which is now converted into a museum. After all the visits we will spend the night at the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant in Konya. Dinner and overnight in Konya |

Departure from Konya to Cappadoccia. Cappadoccia is a wonderful region formed by volcano eruptions centuries ago. Erosions by wind, rain and snow caused many interesting shapes, which gives the impression that we are in the scene of a science fiction movie. Starting from the third century BC, Cappadoccia also became a religious centre for Christianity. We will visit Goreme open-air museum with its many carved churches. Afterwards we will discover the region with different valleys, each with breathtaking landscapes such as L. Canyon. Today we will also see Derinkuyu underground city. The settlement is approximately 85m deep. Lunch at a local restaurant in Cappadoccia. Dinner and overnight in Cappadoccia. |
DAY 10 : CAPPADOCIA - KAYSERI - ISTANBUL

Today we will continue our wine-making workshops. First we will go to a vineyard for liquidize the grapes by our feet. And boil the juice in the cauldrons to make grape molasses in traditional home made way. In the afternoon we will continue our Cappadoccia tour by visiting Uchisar which is the tallest point in Cappadoce and has a wonderful view of the region. Subsequently we will visit Pasabag vineyards and Zelve. Lunch at a local restaurant. After the tour we will drive to Kayseri for flight to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines TK265. We will arrive Istanbul at 21:45. Dinner at a local restaurant in Kayseri. Overnight in Istanbul |

Departure from hotel at 09:00. In the morning, we will have a private boat trip on Bosphorus, through the waterway separating the two continents Asia and Europe for nearly 1 – 1,5 hours. Afterwards we will visit Dolmabahce palace which is located on Bosphorus Line. After lunch at a restaurant which is famous with traditional Ottoman Cuisine, we will visit Suleymaniye Mosque. Suleymaniye mosque which is considered to be the most beautiful of the imperial mosques in Istanbul. It includes 6 madrasas, a poor house-tabhane, an imaret-soup kitchen, a caravanserai, mental hospital, baths, a school and shops, as well as the mausoleums of Suleyman I and Sultana Hurrem. Subsequently we will visit St. Sofia. Here is one of the world’s architectural masterpieces with architectural features rendering it unique in construction. Finally transfer to airport for flight back to home country. |
