In the morning, we will have a private boat trip on Bosphorus, through the waterway separating the two continents Asia and Europe for nearly 1 – 1,5 hours. Afterwards we will visit Dolmabahce palace which is located on Bosphorus Line. After lunch at a restaurant which is famous with traditional Ottoman Cuisine, we will visit Suleymaniye Mosque. Suleymaniye mosque which is considered to be the most beautiful of the imperial mosques in Istanbul. It includes 6 madrasas, a poor house-tabhane, an imaret-soup kitchen, a caravanserai, mental hospital, baths, a school and shops, as well as the mausoleums of Suleyman I and Sultana Hurrem. Subsequently we will visit St. Sofia. Here is one of the world’s architectural masterpieces with architectural features rendering it unique in construction. We will also pay a visit to the Grand Bazaar, there with more than 4000 shops as well as being the market of old city. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul |

Transfer from hotel to airport for flight to Izmir with Turkish Airlines TK 314 or TK 316 . Arrival time 10:00 Today we will have a visit to Efesus. During our walk through the site we will see beautiful ancient tempels, agora’s, marble streets, the Celsus library, anphi-theaters etc. in good shape. Only little imagination is needed to go some centuries back and feel daily life in the Roman or Greek period. In the afternoon the coach will take us to a cute village in the mountains for lunch, which is called Sirince, another high energy spot. Departure from hotel at 09:00 and drive to Pamukkale. Pamukkale is unique and famous with its white travertine terraces. First we will see those travertine which has a source rich in minerals has a healing power which is very early been discovered. Then we will visit a city, called Hierapolis which has been founded as part of the Pergamon Kingdom. The site is known because of its acropolis; ancient cemetery. We will also see Loadikeia. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight in Pamukkale at a thermal hotel, and we will have dinner at hotel. |

Departure from hotel at 09:00 and drive to Konya the city of the whirling derwishes. A holy city of Konya is the home of RUMI. The city was used to be one of the most important trading centres on the Silk Road. We will have a visit of Sultanhani Caravanserai. The latter one was built as an accommodation place for tradesman and at the same time it had the function of a castle in times of hostility. Afterwards we will visit Mevlana museum, which has been given as a present by the Seljuk sultans to the derwishes.The most famous place here is old convent of the whirling derwishes, which is now converted into a museum. After all the visits we will spend the night at the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant in Konya. Dinner and accommodation in Aksaray. |
DAY 6 : CAPPADOCIA - KAYSERI - ISTANBUL

Departure from hotel and drive to Cappadocia. Cappadocia is a wonderful region formed by volcano eruptions centuries ago. Erosions by wind, rain and snow caused many interesting shapes, which gives the impression that we are in the scene of a science fiction movie. Starting from the third century BC, Cappadoccia also became a religious centre for Christianity. We will visit the Goreme open-air museum with its many carved churches. Afterwards we will discover the region with different valleys, each with breathtaking landscapes such as Guvercinlik, Uchisar, L. Canyon. We also see Pasabag wineyards and Derinkuyu underground city. Afterwards we drive to Kayseri. After dinner, we fly to Istanbul from Kayseri with Turkish Airlines TK265. We will arrive Istanbul at at 21:45. Dinner in Kayseri at a local restaurant and accommodation in Istanbul. |

Departure from Hotel at 09:00. Istanbul, once known as an important capital has many unique features. It is the only city in the world to straddle two continents, and the only one to have been a capital during two consecutive empires - Byzantine and Ottoman. The city still remains the commercial, historical and cultural pulse of Turkey, and its beauty lies in its ability to embrace its contradictions. Ancient and modern, religious and secular, Asia and Europe, mystical and earthly all co-exist here. After having breakfast tour of the “Old City”. This is the centre from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. First visit of the Hippodrome, centre of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Subsequently visit of the Basilica of St. Sophia and Topkapi Palace with its treasury section and harem. Hereafter visit of the Blue Mosque, the latter one is famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets and is built for Sultan Ahmet. After the visits there will be some free time at Taksim Square. This is one of the city’s focal points for shopping, entertainment and urban promenading and is a fine example of the contrasts and compositions of Istanbul with fashion shops, bookshops, cinemas, markets, restaurants. Lunch at a local restaurant. Flight back to home country. |
